Today we did spray tanning at college and there were male electricians just wandering through the Salon without asking. Also my tutor tried to hold a conversation with me when I’d just stepped out of the tanning booth and her chair was on my college clothes so I was just standing there in my knickers.

About four years ago at my secondary school in Hertfordshire, all the girls were called into assembly and told that we couldn’t wear coloured of patterned bras as they show through our school shirts and distract male students and staff. We were told we could only wear white bras. It still makes me angry to this day and I’m glad that as far as I know most of the girls continued to wear whatever underwear they damn well please

My sister is doing an end of year art project, and their theme just has to be something non European. So originally she wanted to base her piece around Japanese culture. But then apparently she spent too much time on Tumblr and wanted to change the theme to body image (call me stupid but this seems very European to me) which seems an excuse to stick pictures of models such as Cara Delevingne in her book. When I asked her why she had changed her mind she said “I couldn’t think of anything to do for Japanese culture”

Seriously.

I am so tempted to just do her project for her… Japanese culture seems like such an interesting subject for an art project. :(
